Doctor Captain (retired) Stephane Bourassa retired from the Canadian Armed Forces since 2015 as Intelligence Officer. He was also specialized in CBRNE Defence and had served as military Nursing Officer and Armoured Crew Member. In 2023, he obtained a Doctoral Degree with University of Montreal in Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (Experimental Medicine), Faculty of Medicine. Related to his research work, he graduated, in 2019, with the Centre Québécois de Formation en Aéronautique sur les drones légers. In 2020, he got his advanced drone pilot certification from Transport Canada. As other key diploma, he has, since 2017, a master degree with Laval University (Canada) in Experimental Medicine along with a micro-program in Lung Inflammatory and Diseases Research in 2016 which are also from Faculty of Medicine. Stephane is member of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières du Québec with a right to prescription. As a Scientific entrepreneur, he co-founded, in 2017, Medical Intelligence CBRNE Inc.® and its charitable organization, Operation Compagnons d’armes ®. Stephane Bourassa is now transitioning to his next level of his research career. Also, since 2023, Stephane Bourassa have started, as new competence for his research field, one of the three training block of the Coding for Veterans program which is in software and cybersecurity programming. In terms of research, he is doing a post-doctorate at the Ecole de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) in the laboratory of Docteur Louis Dufresne, PhD, Ing. The orientation is Fluid Mechanics Applied to Health Technologies in disaster/catastrophe settings (Mécanique des fluides appliquée aux technologies de la santé en contexte de catastrophe). He cofounded Ubique-Adsum of the ETS’s Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Applications which studies disaster settings and austere environment. He has made some inventions and published more than 15 publications so far along with being reviewer for medical journals.
