My research focuses on the development of electrospun nanofibers for advanced facial masks aimed at enhancing public health safety while prioritizing environmental sustainability. By leveraging cutting-edge electrospinning technology, I create lightweight, breathable materials with superior filtration capabilities. I utilize green solvents instead of hazardous alternatives and incorporate biodegradable polymers to minimize environmental impact. These innovative masks can play a significant role in infection control and health promotion, aligning with the AIRS Network's commitment to improving community health outcomes. Through collaboration with health organizations, I aim to translate this research into practical applications that address current and emerging health challenges while protecting the environment.
