My research examines the impact of hypoxia on lung function, with particular emphasis on respiratory mechanics in a murine model of allergic asthma. BALB/c mice are exposed to fixed periods of normobaric hypoxia to evaluate alterations in respiratory mechanics, allergic inflammation, and airway responsiveness. The primary objective is to determine whether controlled hypoxic exposure can provide therapeutic benefits by attenuating key features of asthma. Ultimately, this study aims to contribute to the development of novel strategies for the management of respiratory diseases.
