Axis 4

Society, policies and environmental justice

The Axis brings together multidisciplinary expertise to analyze atmospheric and sound environments, with a focus on their effects on health and well-being, exposure inequalities and institutional frameworks such as regulations, public policies and other mechanisms governing these exposures. It examines the links between public health, land-use planning, governance and environmental requirements, while integrating concepts of environmental justice and transport justice. Through a collaborative approach, including workshops, case studies, co-design residencies and the involvement of practitioners and citizens, the Axis aims to build a dynamic community of practice. These efforts will contribute to the development of educational tools and the enrichment of knowledge, fostering critical reflection on practices in inter- and transdisciplinary contexts.
