Axis 2
Axis 2 aims to support research on improving health conditions whose causes or symptoms are modulated by exposure to air pollution and noise by promoting intersectoral projects and the sharing of omics and microbiome data to advance understanding of the underlying biological mechanisms. The research program, grounded in a collaborative approach that includes affected individuals, supports the promotion of healthy environments and the development of prevention and intervention strategies within a sustainable health perspective. Axis 2 focuses on interactions between these biological factors and environmental exposures in the emergence and progression of respiratory and auditory diseases. This work contributes to the development of technological, predictive, diagnostic and therapeutic tools related to personalized medicine. Training activities and knowledge mobilization further enrich the program.
